Bases are massive, stationary structures used to support navies. They have large support buildings, and can accomdate large ships for docking and repairs. Some have massive weapon systems and armor (read:fortress), and others simply are made to support allied ships with minimal armaments.

Air Base 1 and 2 are both good examples of bases, but they are too expensive for many players.

Making your own[]

Bases should always be made with large 2x2x2, 3x2x1 blocks or deck 1x20 pieces. Try to have an open area that can fit a battleship. Runways and recon planes are good add ons. Craeting an artifical dock(s) with cranes and "oil barrels" will add to the realism.

Notes[]

It's not uncommon to see stablity 2000+.

If you want your base to move, add a little "factory" and put your boilers there. Other buildings like a radar (put rangefinder+radar here) station and a mess hall will  nice additions.

Get ready to spend A LOT of money on decorations.

As you can see in the pictures, the base has mulitple buidlings, and docks that can fit ships that are less than 80m in width. Take note of the smaller docks in the back, biult to handle destroyers and frigates.

Unfournately, cranes and recon planes take up a whopping 4% each on the percentage bar, so don't expect to add many on them.
